Including notes and memos

The ability to document the setup of your simulation is critical for noting your thinking, specifying the reason for applying values, and providing transparency for others interpreting your simulation setup. Two approaches are provided for adding additional details to your simulation; the Notes property of each CLEM component, and the APSIM Memo component.

All notes and memos added to your simulation will be reported in the descriptive summaries.

Each CLEM component has a Notes property as one of the properties available. This property is provided in the right hand with all other properties and allow you to add a quick not to each component of the model as you build and parameterise your simulation.

The APSIM Next Generation Memo component can be added anywhere in your simulation tree and offers the ability to provided formatted, custom details in your simulation. This memo is provided as MarkDown language formatted text which you can change and create with the Edit button on the Memo display.
